Aurora 39x32

“Extremely cold, so cold that you couldn’t stay without gloves for more than 30 seconds. Probably -20 degrees and with a green sky overhead. It was night, we were playing cards in this tin house in the middle of the prairie, next to us there was nothingness, the other 4 houses were far away. Every now and then someone would go out to see if the sun had wanted to give us some electromagnetic phenomenon which, interacting in the atmosphere of the north pole, was transformed into the famous Northern Lights. Finally here it is, on the horizon actually, not exactly above us, but fascinating in its slow floating like a very light veil of a goddess of the night.”
